The drinks were as fun as the conversation at our latest Bar School, this one led by Mark Beyer, of Saltine in Norfolk. Beyer, who has earned a reputation as one of the best mixologists in Tidewater, led guests through the process of making two delicious drinks: the refreshing Thyme to Chill and the spicy Western Medicine – both of which were made with Virginia’s very own Belle Isle moonshine. Guests paid $50 and walked away with two drinks, great appetizers, a mixing kit and a free bottle of Belle Isle. Not a bad deal. Follow us on Facebook for the announcement of our next Bar School.
