Five couples took part in a special Distinction Supper Club event in September, boarding a ROX luxury coach in Virginia Beach and heading to Chatham Vineyards on Church Creek in Machipongo on the Eastern Shore.
As the winery owner, Jon Wehner, pressed chardonnay grapes for the harvest, the party enjoyed delicious wine and hors d’oeuvres from Cuisine Catering. On the menu was Edwards country ham biscuits, crab dip, deviled eggs, antipasto and portobello mushroom tacos. To drink, the group enjoyed Chatham Church Creek Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Rosé and Vintner’s Blend.
