A lucky group of drinkers were treated in March to a Bar School filled with tasty cocktails and incredible appetizers. The students were led by mixologist Chad Cruea who has tended bar at Eat, an American Bistro for the past 11 years. Cruea taught his charges how to make two savory drinks: a strawberry take on a mint julep and a tequila drink that featured kiwifruit. The class gnoshed on pot stickers and a tuna side dish as they worked through the lesson plan. Tyler Felthousen from Heaven Hill Brands was in attendance to discuss the company’s incredible selection of spirits. If you missed this one, keep an eye out.
